Tom Spencer began his financial services practice immediately following his 1973 graduation from Brown University. He is an Investment Advisor Representative and has attained his ChFC designation (Chartered Financial Consultant). He now serves a select clientele who depend on him for retirement solutions and financial security.
Tom has been featured in financial planning segments on WBNW radio’s “Smart Money”, on the PBS broadcast “Creative Living” in a three part series, and on NBC’s “The Today Show”.
Much in demand as an industry speaker, Tom has shared his thoughts on business practices with financial services audiences around the country. A Life and Qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, Tom was one of only a few chosen to address more than 7,000 members from 40 countries from the Main Platform at the MDRT annual meeting in Toronto, Canada.
Tom has served on the MDRT Task Force charged with programming for the "Boomer Retirement Industry Summit" in New York, featuring Dr. Alan Greenspan, along with noted academics and other authorities on retirement issues.
In 2002, Tom was awarded the 25th annual “Albert Richardson Award” given each year to the individual with the highest level of commitment and service to clients, the industry and the community. The award was given by NAIFA Boston. (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors)
Tom serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. In addition, he serves as a member of the Endicott College Executive Committee. Tom has also been active in fund raising for Seeds of Peace and Habitat for Humanity.
Tom and his wife Suzanne have two sons and have been part of the Sudbury, Massachusetts community since 1980.
